Advertising and design have never been completely at peace with one another but it seems in NZ the war is even more intense. Apparently it’s not uncommon here for pack and comms to be designed completely blind of each other.
A prime example seems to be in the ‘Nice and Natural’ bars I blogged about a couple of days ago. There doesn’t seem to be anything natural or nice about the comms that accompany the pack. Which poses the question which should come first the chicken or the egg? And can these two disciplines ever really find peace in the creative world?
